Park Information
Lake Minatare State Recreation Area has more than 2,000 acres of water with facilities for showers, laundry, modern restrooms, dump station, water, picnic tables, shelters, boat ramps, unsupervised swimming, fishing and fish cleaning stations. Campers, trailers and pets are welcome, however the pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length.
The Unity Days sub-committee has made reservations for primitive camp spaces. However, if you would like separate accommodations or if your idea of ruffing it is a bit more modern, reservations can be made by calling (402)471-1414 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday. Alternately, reservations can be made 24 hours a day at Nebraska Game And Parks Commission.
